New Vauxhall Zafira is set for launch - 19/04/2005 The price and specifications of the new Vauxhall Zafira have been announced, with order books for the revamped model opening this week. The new Zafira will be available from £12,995 and features a generous complement of equipment across the range. The cars will be available in five different trim levels, named the Expression, the Life, the Club, the Design and the Sri. The new Zafira offers not just newer equipment but even better value than its predecessor. For example, the new Zafira Life 1.6-litre 16 valve offers side airbags and roof rails that are not fitted on the current model, yet it cost £350 less. The savings increase in proportion to the level of the trim level: at Vauxhall Zafira Club 1.6 16v comes with alloy wheels and side and curtain airbags, yet costs £650 less than the equivalent old Zafira. The first new Vauxhall Zafiras will be delivered to customers in the summer, and Vauxhall has announced plans for a special dealer-based launch programme on the weekend of 23-24 July.
