Sneak peak at Audi's new Q7 SUV - 18/04/2005 The brand new Audi Q7 SUV made a brief and unexpected appearance at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt in Germany last week. Together with the Audi RS4, the Q7 is set to herald a new generation of SUVs that combine Audi's Quattro technology with its immensely popular drive concept. Set for mass production at the start of 2006, the Q7 will offer a range of high performance petrol and TDI engines to guarantee both excellent on-road performance as well as optimum all-terrain capability. The car is set to make its full first appearance at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, and until then, any further viewing will take place strictly behind closed doors. Until its Frankfurt launch, prototypes of the Audi Q7 will be put through extensive testing in a variety of extremely challenging conditions, including both Artic regions and Saharan conditions.
