Honda launches innovative Airwave - 07/04/2005


Honda is set to unveil a brand new compact station wagon called the Airwave in Japan.

The car manufacturer claims that the new car contains elements of the Jazz supermini and the new generation Civic, which is due for release shortly.

The Honda Airwave will be fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol engine capable of turning out 110bhp.

It also promises to combine performance with striking good looks, fitted as it is with a full-length glass sunroof and the sportier elements of the Civic.

Furthermore, the car offers new levels of practicality, it multi-faceted interior providing a variety of storage options.

Honda says the Airwave will fit snugly between its FR-V and Civic models.

On sale from April 7th in Japan, details of a release on these shores remain unclear at the moment.
