Citroen C4 residual value praised - 15/04/2005 The Citroen C4 has been a resounding success in the second-hand market, achieving 128 per cent on the CAP residual value indicator. Each of the 28 available versions of the Citroen C4 exceeded CAP performance with the best performer being the 5-door 2.0 HDi VTR+. The results came in the first on-line auction of used Citroen C4s, which reinforced the car's standing in the M1 sector and reinforced CAP's predictions of its strong residual value. The head of vehicle remarketing for Citroen UK Ltd, said, "We're delighted by the exceptional start C4 has made, and with an average £900 differential above CAP Monitor value there's little doubt that our dealers are confident that there will be high demand for C4." Mr Brown added: "Results like these will give the retail customer, as well as underwriters for leasing companies, confidence in the residual value strengths of this car."
