The Mazda6 Sakata Special Edition is set to make a return to showrooms this spring.

Available for a limited period only, the car manufacturer is sure consumers will jump at another chance to get their hands on Mazda's popular special edition.

Powered by the lively MZR 1.8 litre 120 bps (118 bhp) petrol engine, the Sakata is both sporting and pleasing to the eye, finished in Strato Blue or Sparkling Silver and finished off with a striking rear spoiler.

The Sakata is also one of the safest cars on the road, fitted with no less than six airbags, as well as ABS disc brakes and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) fitted as standard.

And all this is available from just £12,995 on the road.

The addition of the Sakata is expected to add further buoyancy to Mazda's sales figures, which stood at a steady 1.98 per cent of the passenger car market in February.
