Honda expects sales increase in 2006

Honda is expecting to sell over 3 million cheap new cars worldwide by the end of the year, with extra growth predicted for 2006. The US will see an expected 1.45 million sales, making a four per cent increase and European sales will rise to 285,000, which is a jump of 11 per cent.

Citroen C3 Supermini Range

The French carmaker Citroen has revised its new C3 supermini range for 2006, introducing a diesel version. The diesel version is Citroen's most expensive, starting at £13,295. The petrol engine editions start at £9,195 but are available at lower prices through online new car sales. All models include twin air bags, ABS and five 3-point seatbelts.

New Ford SAV Concept Car

The next new Ford to go into production will be SAV Concept car, which debuted recently at the Geneva Motor Show. Honda previews new cars

New Car Sales Data

Data from Jato Dynamics shows that car sales reached 1.24 million vehicles in July, with new car registrations dropping slightly, and figures for the first seven months of the year are on a par with 2004. Volkswagen topped brand performance, with a 1.1 per cent rise in sales last month, and Renault was the market leader for the first seven months of July.

New BMW 3 Series Improvements

On paper the new BMW 3 Series looks promising, its all important load space is now 25 litres greater with the 60:40 split rear seats up, and 40 litres greater when they are folded giving it a maximum load space of 1,385 litres.
