Nissan X-Trail Edges Closer

Published Date: 7th Apr 2014

Nissan save goodbye to the current Nissan X-Trail and wecome the new.

The new Nissan X-Trail is edging closer to the UK, with cars hitting showroom in July. The Current model has ceased production to make way for the next generation Nissan X-Trail. There are still stock cars around here and there around the UK, but you can no longer factory order the current X-Trail. Recent enquires have suggested the current model is in very high demand, with customers opting for the current model over waiting for the hotly-anticipated new Nissan X-Trail. This is testament to Nissan’s following, with buyers rather having the model they know and love opposed to the unchartered ground of the new model due for release this July.

The new Nissan X-Trail is likened to the Nissan Qashqai in design and styling, which is the main feedback from customers wanting the current X-Trail. In this case maybe too much so for the average X-Trail customer, this will also see the demise of the 7 seat Nissan Qashqai with the new Nissan X-Trail being the replacement.

The latest stock update from Nissan suggests that the current model cars are running thin, there remains availability on both N-Tec+ and Tekna grades, however supply on the Acenta grade has already become limited with build now fixed, including colour across the whole range.

Nissan have also explained that in order to avoid customer dissatisfaction with backorders, we will close all current model X-Trails to backorder with immediate effect.
