Google Remembers Senna

We miss out as Google logo remembers Ayrton Senna
Ayrton Senna’s birthday was recognised by Google yesterday, with a special version of the Google’s logo featured on its website homepage.
The March 21st logo has an illustration of Senna, with a chequered flag design above and a Formula One racing car below – put together with the green and yellow of the Brazilian’s home country.
A three-time F1 world champion, who would have turned just 54 today, was killed in an accident whilst leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at the Imola race track. May 1st will mark the 20th anniversary of his death.
Widely considered as the most naturally talented driver of all time, Senna’s birthday has since been recognised by Google sites around the world, appearing on its homepage as far afield as Canada, Puerto Rico and not least of all Brazil.
Surprisingly though, with the UK’s strong F1 connections, our Google logo doesn't feature Senna tribute, having reverted to the standard logo following the previous celebration of the 1st day of spring logo.
