“Excellent Service, excellent price”

This was my first foray into buying a new car via an Internet broker and I was, I suspect like many others, a little nervous. I was attracted to UK Car Discount as, barring the deposit, no payment would be made until I had taken delivery of the vehicle.

Staff at UK car discount were very prompt and professional, rapidly responding to any and all of my queries by phone or e-mail. The precise car I wanted would have been a factory order with a lead time of about 12 weeks, but I was flexible on a number of things and they found me a suitable alternative at a very good price for delivery from point of order in just three weeks.

The car was exactly as specified, delivered on time and the V5C & tax disc arrived two working days later. UK Car Discount did everything they said they would, when they said they would and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble, making the whole process hassle free. And all for a price significantly lower than my local dealer could offer.

I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

“Very helpful company, efficient and painless process”

I am always apprehensive whenever buying something as significant as a new car online as it is a very different concept compared to ordering a CD, but are always wanting the best deal.

We were in the market for a new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso, so found UK Car Discount to be one of the best advertised prices for the vehicle. Whilst you can buy several hundred pounds cheaper from a variety of other sites, the ones I looked at give no indication that you will be the first registered keeper, which is a bit of a worry. What drew me to this broker was that they are perfectly happy with you paying for the vehicle once it has been delivered and not before, which gives a very strong reassurance that customer service and trust is a core feature of their business.

The car eventually turned up a week earlier than expected, was delivered on the day I was told it would arrive and was in pristine condition, delivered by a very helpful chap.

Overall, the experience could not have been easier and we are very pleased with our purchase.

“fantastic all round service !!”

I would definitely recommend uk car discount to anyone looking for a new car. From start to finish everything they promised was true. They gave us a date for the car to arrive and it actually came a month early. The tax disc came straight after the car along with the log book. Not only did we save thousands ,there customer service was brilliant. I was slightly worried ordering the car over the internet but certainly didn't need to be. “Bought a new car on the Internet.”

I have today received my new car I ordered on the internet. It has been a fairly simple task for me, I requested the make and model, colour etc and got exactly what I wanted at a much cheaper price than quoted by my local main dealer.I had all my questions answered directly by very efficient staff,I would recommend this company to anyone needing a new car…

“Website, ordering process, staff, value - all excellent”

Review title says it all really. Only 1 caveat: Delivery to dealer was delayed a couple of times - manufacturer delays, not the fault of UKCarDiscount, but I would have preferred more notice. Would it not be possible to check progress with manufacturer and notify customer of delays, instead of waiting until due date?…

“First Class Service”

First time of purchasing a new car on-line I am very impressed with a first class service and first class company. I can honestly say that everyone I dealt with was extremely polite and there was NO chasing for the final payment. Personally I would thoroughly recommend anyone trying to save money on a new car purchase to pick up the phone and be surprised on the saving made. Delivery was as stated and within the time frame. A full explanation of the car controls by their driver was also first rate. 
So, do as I did pick up the phone and call.

“'A Leap of Faith'”

Buying a brand new car over the internet was a leap of faith for me. I thought people pay more than the price of a car for a holiday they do not know how it will turn out to be.
I had bought many other things over the internet - my car insurance for example but a whole car?!! Was this a risk?
I paid the deposit with my credit card and the balance on delivery of my new carwith a bank transfer, after having checked the vehicle over very carefully.
UK Car Discount explained the whole process all the way through.
When you consider buying a car like this be absolutely clear what model you are buying with any extra specifications added and noted. 
My car is lovely, a Ford Fiesta Eco Boost 1.0L, but I should have asked for electrically folding wing mirrors, which in London you need.
