Ford has released details of the revised and improved 2019 Mondeo self-charging Hybrid with the Estate models getting the option of a Hybrid engine for the first time. With European emissions targets and the ever-increasing demand for hybrids (and to a lesser extent full electric vehicles) Ford are expecting a big swing in sales of Hybrids.
The new Ford Focus Active and Active X models are Ford’s 5 door variants of Britain’s best-selling family hatchback, combining all that’s’ loved about the Ford Focus Hatchback with Crossover/Compact SUV features. Also new are the Focus Active Estate models, again jacked up/SUV like versions of the traditional Focus Estate models.
Ford has confirmed there will be a refreshed version of the Ford Mondeo in 2019 which makes perfect sense given that other manufacturers have already or plan to refresh rival vehicles like the Mazda6, VW Passat and Vauxhall Insignia. Full details of the revised 2019 Mondeo have yet to be disclosed in full, but we are being drip-fed information from various sources of what to expect.
