If you go for the entry-level Style trim level then you’ll feel like you just have what you need and not what you want. The standard Ford Mondeo is fitted with the Sync2 Bluetooth entertainment system with eight-inch touchscreen and DAB radio, emergency assistance in the unfortunate event of an accident, 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, electric front windows, electric parking brake with hill hold function and LED tail lights.
The European New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) has published its crash test results from the new Ford Mondeo. Having recently launched in Europe just this year, the 2015 Mondeo, which is also available as a four-door saloon and five-door hatchback, is available in the UK with huge discount with UK Car Discount’s new Ford Mondeo car deals. It scored high marks in all areas of the comprehensive test, earning the maximum of five stars overall thanks to good scores for each individual test.
The Ford Mondeo isn’t short of choice when it comes to engines, the most popular being the 2.0 TDCi and with the efficiency and low Co2 emissions it comes as no surprise. The different engines are listed below…..

FORD MONDEO 1.0 EcoBoost
FORD MONDEO 1.5 EcoBoost
FORD MONDEO 2.0 EcoBoost
Ford Mondeo Diesel Engines

On the inside, the Ford Mondeo has a roomy and comfortable cabin – plenty of room in the front and also in the back for the passengers. Foot room is generous and so is head room, the boot can fit golf clubs, prams and a small bouncy castle (deflated of course). You get cloth interior as standard and leather for a little extra, or included if you head up to the top of the range.
Sport seats are standard and there is a long list of creature comforts available for a price, from keyless entry and start to heated seats that boast 3 different heat settings. Ambient lighting is also available, and can be changed at a moment’s notice through the infotainment touchscreen. Satellite navigation can be added and upgraded to a Sony made console for a small fee.
The new Ford Mondeo is the one of the most attractive cars to hit the road in 2015, with its kinetic in-motion design flowing from the headlights and throughout. The design is very similar to that of an Aston martin, with the front grille representing the most familiar characteristic.
The newly-designed Ford Mondeo definitely meets the grade and stand firm against its rivals – The VW Passat, Skoda Octavia and Audi A4. These rivals excel in different departments, but the new Ford Mondeo is the best value, most rounded and best looking Family Hatch on the road.
A long list of innovations includes Ford Dynamic LED Technology: intelligent headlamps that turn as you turn the steering wheel, helping you see round bends. Rather than traditional bulbs, they utilise ultra-efficient LEDs and also incorporate eight different lighting modes.
As a result, the headlamps can react to your surroundings, giving you a different beam pattern and intensity depending on whether you’re driving in town or the countryside, or in adverse weather.
Rear Inflatable Seatbelt
Another standout innovation is the unique Rear Inflatable Seatbelt giving passengers in the two rear outer seats a whole new level of airbag protection.
