My Suzuki SX4 arrived on time and in perfect condition - and it came with a full tank of petrol, mats and locking wheel nuts!
 
I must say how impressed I am with the service provided by you, Gary and Brian.  The whole UK Car Discount experience has been smooth and painless.  As well as saving a significant amount on the list price, UK Car Discount beat its expected delivery date by two months and that of my local dealer by more than that.  I am recommending you company to all my friends.

There was one amusing sequel.  I had the Paintseal treatment, and the operator proudly announced that practically nothing would stick to the car after that.  Overnight, the front number plate dropped off, so he was right.  It's fixed now. Thank you for an efficient and friendly service.

Just to confirm the car arrived this morning, everything is perfect and Steph loves it! The guy who delivered it was very pleasant,  it only had 69 miles on the clock coming from Chesterfield and arrived looking as new and unmarked as it should.

Positives all round really, the car is everything Steph wanted and more, I get brownie points with my mother in law! and be assured I will recommend you to other people when I get the opportunity.

Being an ardent supporter of buying things online for a better discount than you can generally get on the high street, I decided to check out what was involved in buying a new car over the internet and whether I could get a good discount. My wife wanted a new car so I visited my local dealer to see what offer he could make. He would not reduce the list price of £22500 and offered a poor part ex on my car. When I said I could get a much better price by buying over the internet he gave the usual dealer teeth sucking, I wouldn't do that if I were you response that I sort of expected.

I did some research and decided to go with UK Car Discount. I followed the what car do I want tick box screen, then spec-ed the car to what I wanted exactly as if I was going through the manufactures own website. All colours, models, options etc were there with prices for optional extras and you just ticked what you wanted. The total price including tax and delivery came to £18600 for the same car the dealer wanted £22500 for! They did offer a PX on my car but it was low. I was not worried however because an online buyer had offered us a figure I was happy with if I couldn't sell privately.

The process of paying a £500 deposit by credit card after they confirmed the car you wanted and the spec, made me think this was too good to be true. They gave me a 3 month delivery date, the same as the dealer had stated.

2 months later they rang saying the car was in and when did I want it delivered? We agreed on a date, they were not pushy at all and seemed quite relaxed about when we wanted the car. We had to fax them some proofs of ID and a copy of the bankers draft for the outstanding balance and then wait for delivery. The car turned up and the keys handed over then I went to the local Nat West and paid for the car. That was it! Got exactly the car we wanted and saved an unbelievable £4000 off the list price, no hard sell, no dealer waffle and no hassle at all. It was all so easy I did think it must be a scam but it isn't. I don't know how it works but it does. The car is actually supplied by a UK dealer, in our case a dealer in Peterborough not UK Car Discount, they just seem to work as a broker. Main dealers will try to put you off buying a car on the Internet by stories of woe but I would recommend anyone to seriously consider it, you can save a small fortune.
