Toyota Extends Yaris Hybrid Range

Toyota has added two new trim-levels to the Yaris Hybrid range. The Yaris Hybrid Active is the entry-level model with UK Car Discount offering a cut-price of just over £13,000 whilst the Sport version offers a nippier more eye-catching alternative at around £17,000 before discounts.

New Toyota Yaris Hybrid Active 

The Toyota Yaris Hybrid Active model comes with excellent equipment levels for a so-called entry-level model. It features 6 speaker radio/CD with MP3 support,  dual zone climate control,  electric power front windows, trip computer, split-folding rear seats, heated and electric door mirrors, 14 inch steel wheels and daytime running lights. Official figures point to a combine fuel economy of 85mpg and CO2 emissions are just 75g/km so you benefit from exemption of road tax and the London congestion charge.
 

New Toyota Yaris Hybrid Sport 

The Yaris Hybrid Sport model offers some nice eye-catching features as you’d expect with rear privacy glass, 16 inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and a rear pillar styling that creates a floating roof effect.

Other equipment as standard with Sport model includes climate control, front and rear  electric power windows all round and Toyota’s Touch 2 multimedia system with DAB radio, Bluetooth support and rear view camera.

Optional extras are a Skyview panoramic roof and larger alloy wheels.
If you plump for the larger alloy wheel it means a slightly less economical car with CO2 emissions of 82g/km and combined fuel economy of 78.5mpg.
