Top 5 most expensive cars 2015 – No.5

Many people talk about the top 1% that own 99% of the planet’s wealth, and if you are in that top 1% - the list we have put together could be nothing more than a shopping list to pass onto your secretary.

For the rest of us (the 99%), we can dream of having these cars and stare in wonder when we see one drive past us. But enough about that, these cars are beautiful, fast, powerful and scary in some cases.  Many of the cars that made this year’s list can reach 0-60 mph in the time it takes you to stand up and put your jacket on (under 3.0 seconds).

So let’s get to it with No.5 on our list………..

No.5 – Aston Martin ONE-77        

Hailed as the Ultimate Aston Martin, the most exclusive Aston Martin of the 'Gaydon era', One-77 was limited to 77 unique examples.

Tantalisingly, the first glimpse the world got of the One-77 hypercar was a maquette of the new car at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, three quarters covered by a grey pin-stripe fabric cover with only a glimpse of the front right side coyly peeping out.

The full picture was revealed at the March 2009 Geneva Motor Show, where a metallic blue mockup and rolling chassis with its entire powertrain were on display.
