New Audi A4 SE Technik Upgrades

The new 2013 Audi A4 SE Technik model now includes as standard 18 inch alloys (previously models were equipped with 17 inch alloys), metallic paint and an upgraded range of engines with power and efficiency improvements.

Available for the Saloon and Avant A4 models with a four-cylinder engine, the SE Technik trim-level builds on the SE model with the addition of Milano leather upholstery, a hard disk-based satellite navigation plus system, Audi Music Interface (AMI), iPod connection and the Audi parking assist system which includes front and rear visual and acoustic parking guidance.

The Technik model is now even better adding as standard 18 inch, 10 spoke alloy wheels (upgraded from 17 inch, 5 spoke wheels),and metallic paint. Add this to the array of equipment inherited from the SE model you get a very nice package with three zone climate control, cruise control., Bluetooth, a premium audio system. DAB radio, 6.5 inch colour display, automatic headlights and rain sensoring wipers plus split folding rear seats.

On top of the equipment upgrade there are also a number of available engines that have made technology gains resulting in performance increases whilst at the same time achieving reductions in CO2 emissions and improvements in fuel economy. 

The engine line-up for the SE Technik model includes three petrol turbo units and three TDi diesel options. The petrol offerings are two versions of the 1.8 litre TFSI (120PS and 170PS), and the 2.0 litre TFSI which has power improvements from 211PS to 225PS and capable of 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds

There are three versions of the 2.0 TDI engine available the 143PS engine gets a power boost to 150PS and there is also the frugal 2.0TDIe (136PS) AND THE 177PS TDI.
