Good news if you’re thinking of buying a new Renault car, the French car manufacturer has extended the warranty on its new cars to a generous 5 years. The new extended warranty applies to all Renault cars registered from 18th December 2019 onwards and includes electric cars.
For owners of the all-new fifth generation Clio there’s even more good news as the warranty applies to their Clio regardless of its registration date
The new five-year warranty applies to both private and fleet customers and includes unlimited mileage in the first two years and up to 100,000 miles through the latter three years. New Renault car buyers also benefit from Renault’s three years roadside assistance package.
The all-new 5th generation Renault Clio has been very well received in the industry and has undergone a major overhaul, especially inside which brings the Clio in line with other popular, rival small cars like the Ford Focus and VW Polo for cabin quality and comfort. The new Clio also offers excellent customisation options.
Tech and driver aids have also seen a big upgrade in the 5th generation Clio with attractive features like a large 9.3-inch infotainment screen.
There's also an eye-catching 10-inch digital driver display with integrated sat nav on higher-grade models.
The new Clio range will also get a hybrid version for the first time in 2020 and a new sporty Clio RS Line trim-level that replaces the outgoing GT Line model.
The extended warranty will make Renault cars an even more attractive proposition as it has been rolling-out other new models like the latest version of its popular compact SUV, the Renault Captur and the full electric Zoe capable of up to 245 miles on a full charge.
