New Alfa Giulietta Sprint marks 60 years of the original, and goes on sale this year
The New Alfa Giulietta. It’s hard not to be passionate about the New Alfa Giulietta. Designed and evolved with a perfect blend of sportiness and elegance, its embraced technological advances, but stayed true to the Alfa Romeo brand. With its clean lines and dashboard extending horizontally, the passenger compartment of the Alfa Giulietta is statement of Italian style.
The ultra-soundproofed interior helps passengers to sit back and relax on the five seats that are even more comfortable than the previous model. Every detail screams a sporty personality, from the class of the fabrics and new profiles of the dashboard with coordinated door panels to the three-spoke steering wheel with central aluminium insert inspired by the Alfa Romeo shield and available across the Alfa Giulietta line-up.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint will start from £20,490 when it goes on sale early this year, just in time for the new March 15 Plate. Introduced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the original Giulietta Sprint, it comes fitted with a brand new 148bhp 1.4-litre MultiAir Turbo petrol engine.
Aside from the new engine, the latest Giulietta Sprint also comes with 17-inch alloys, carbon-effect door panels, leather steering wheel, air conditioning and tweaked front and rear bumpers over the standard model.
Like the original Giulietta Sprint, the celebratory edition is also powered by an engine of less than 1,400cc in capacity. Producing 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, the Sprint is capable of 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 130mph, while 49.6mpg and 131g/km of CO2 are also claimed.
There are a whole host of options available for the Sprint, as well. Double electric sunroof (£1,200), Dual-zone climate (£450), aluminium pedals (£160), a new 6.5-inch colour touchscreen with nav (£1,050) and the latest BOSE ten-speaker sound system (£820) are all offered to prospective buyers.
