New 2014 Vauxhall Corsa Styling

Published Date: 3rd Sep 2013

The 2014 new 5th generation Vauxhall Corsa is expected to go into production in April 2014.

Looks-wise it is expected to take some design queues from the Vauxhall Astra GTC which was very well received by motoring enthusiasts and experts.

With the Astra GTC styling the 2014 Corsa supermini is expected to sport a more dramatic eye-catching look whilst retaining some of it’s traditional styling features. Vauxhall hope to keep it’s loyal Corsa fan base onboard, whilst at the same time attracting new buyers with the bolder styling.

The three door model is expected to be have a more dramatic look than the five door option which could give it an almost coupe like shape. Both three and five door options are expected to share the same GTC styling at the front with large headlights and a sleek chrome grille.

The 2014 Vauxhall Corsa should also see a new range of more efficient engines and an overall lighter vehicle means running costs should be improved.

If you prefer a petrol option expect three and four-cylinder SGE units ranging from 1.0 litre to 1.4 litres.  In the diesel range there should be a new 1.6 litre diesel option for those who want more power. The new Corsa should get stop/start technology across the range as standard with a six speed gearbox expected to replace the current five speed one.
