2022 Vauxhall Corsa & Mokka - Simplified Line-Up

Vauxhall has announced a new simplified model line-up for Corsa and Mokka models.

Both models will be available in three trim-levels, the entry-level Design, the sporty GS Line and the top-grade Ultimate model which takes some of the sporty features of the GS Line and adds additional tech and standard equipment. Design and GS Line grades replace the SE Edition and Sri trim-levels respectively.

Vauxhall say the re-organisation of model line-ups should make identifying key differences and choosing a model a less complicated affair for prospective buyers. The number of Corsa variants will be reduced from 15 to 8, while the Mokka range sees a reduction from 16 to 11 variants.

Corsa-e and Mokka-e Full Electric Models

The full electric versions of both models badged the Corsa-e and Mokka-e will be reduced from three to two, and four to two trim-levels respectively.

The Corsa-e will also be equipped with Vauxhall's e-toggle shifter for the first time (already available in the Mokka-e). The Corsa-e has a range of up to 222 miles and can you get an 80% charge on a fast 100kW charger in 30 minutes, the Mokka-e has a range of up to 201 miles.

The Corsa-e and Mokka-e are both eligible for the Government’s plug-in grant, which at the time of writing this article is £1500

Corsa & Mokka Price Reductions

The new Vauxhall Corsa’s and Mokka's simplified range is accompanied by some price reductions, the top spec Corsa Ultimate for example can be as much as £3000+ cheaper than the outgoing model. The Corsa has been the best-selling car in in the UK in 2022 and the new price revisions should make the Corsa an even more attractive proposition.

New Corsa Spec

The entry-level Design will feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support for smartphone mirroring. Driver aids as standard include automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and speed sign recognition.

The Sport GS Line gets additional features like black alloy wheels, black exterior styling trim/features, climate control and rear parking sensors.

The top-grade Ultimate models are loaded with standard equipment and premium features including adaptive cruise control, lane positioning assist, adaptive LED matrix headlights, front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, keyless entry, Alcantara upholstery and heated front seats/steering wheel.

New Mokka Spec

The new Vauxhall Mokka kicks off with the Design model with standard driver aids that include lane departure warning, lane keep assist, speed sign recognition automatic emergency braking, cruise control, automatic lights/windscreen wipers and high beam assist.

Inside the dashboard features twin screens that Vauxhall call it’s ‘Pure Panel’ feature. A 7-inch digital driver display is complimented by the 7-inch touchscreen for the operating the infotainment system, smartphone mirroring is also integrated with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support.

Sporty GS Line models get two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels and contrasting black roof, door mirrors and bodykit. Additional standard equipment includes, keyless engine start, power folding door mirrors and rear parking sensors.

Inside GS Line models get climate control, and the twin ‘Pure Panel’ screens are upgraded to a 10-inch driver display and 12-inch infotainment screen, which make the dash look extremely impressive

Top grade Ultimate models add Alcantara upholstery, keyless entry, matrix adaptive headlights, advanced park assist, blind spot alert, adaptive cruise control and lane positioning assist.
