Toyota Yaris - Save up to £4,327
The all-new Toyota Yaris will hit UK showrooms in Spring, with host of updates that include new eye-catching exterior looks.
One of the big attractions of the Yaris is its reliability, if you’re looking for a small car and you cover a lot of miles each year the Yaris could be for you. It is frequently said that you can take the Yaris round the clock with little to no issues. It’s also one of the safest small cars you can buy.
The entry-level engine are a 1.0-litre petrol (manual transmission only) which is OK for around town ‘light’ driving but if you try to fill the car full of passengers or get on the motorway you might find it feels a bit underpowered. The more powerful 1.5 petrol is a better option if you’re not ready to purchase the hybrid model.
The ace in the pack is the Yaris hybrid model which combines the 1.5 petrol engine with an electric motor, the new models which should be available for September delivery on the 70 plate feature the new/improved hybrid powertrain which is more powerful, offering more torque yet significantly cleaner and more efficient than it’s predecessor.

Best-selling car in the UK, the Fiesta, it offers something for everyone and is one of, if not the best small car to drive. From economical around-town runner to full hot hatch ST model which are immense fun to drive it covers all the bases.
The multi-award winning EcoBoost petrol engines are excellent, our advice is to skip the lowest powered entry-level petrol engine, especially if you are frequently traveling with a full load of passengers or doing a lot of motorway driving. The 99bhp engine is a good choice, offering a good blend of performance and running costs.

Inside the RAV4, sat in the driver’s seat offers a very high/commanding position and visibility is very good. All models are well-equipped and even entry-level models get rear parking sensors and rear-view camera as standard.
Interior quality of the cabin is very good and matches up to most rivals, although it won’t live up to a Peugeot 5008, which has a particularly impressive interior.
Its spacious, considerably bigger than a Nissan Qashqai for example, and a tad smaller than the very roomy Honda CR-V for interior space.
If you’re looking for a generous sized family SUV that will deliver extremely low running costs then the RAV4 should be on your shortlist.
