Women Urged To Search For Cheap Car Insurance
Published Date: 14th Mar 2006
A major insurer has expressed its concern that women may not be doing enough to find the cheapest car insurance available to them.
The company is now concerned that this price difference leaves women complacent over their insurances prices and leads to few carrying out a proper search when they renew their policies.
Will Blackett, car insurance manager at Sainsbury's Bank, explained: "It?s a given that all insurers generally provide cheaper quotes to women than men. Women motorists need to be aware that these savings can vary dramatically and should seek a range of quotes ? not just from their existing insurer or women only policies."
The same goes for finding cheap car finance, often the deals offered at a high street car showroom provide un-competitive interest rates leaving buyers to search elsewhere for the best deal.
