Vauxhalls 6th Generation Astra

Despite the uncertainty over its future with GM Motors, Vauxhallare upbeat and preparing to launch the 6th generation new Vauxhall Astra along with their European partner Opel.
Vauxhall insist that the car will still be built in the UK at their Ellesmere Port site.
The next generation Astra will be built to an exceptionally high standard and whilst being a highly capable drive it will look good as well!
The Astra will share some of its design features and hardware with the Insignia without just looking like a smaller version.
Director of exterior design for GM Europe – Malcolm Ward has said “the aim was to give the Astra its own identity and avoid taking a ‘Russian Doll’ approach”
The new 6th generation Atra will be on sale in the UK from December 2009.
