The New Renault EasyLife Line-Up

Published Date: 16th May 2018

Renault has introduced it’s new ‘EasyLife’ range and as the name suggests the aim is to simplify the confusing task of choosing a car model from what can sometimes be an over-complicated affair.

The EasyLife range brings a three trim-level line-up to the Renault range, kicking off with the Clio, Captur and Megane models with order books open right now for these models you get the option of either the entry-level ‘Play’ model, the mid-range Iconic model or the top of the range sporty GT Line.

As Renault usher in it new simplified line-up they are also transitioning to new WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle) tested engines/vehicles. WLTP is Europe’s new fuel efficiency and emissions testing procedures which replaces the much maligned NEDC regulations which led to unreliable claims and information about vehicle fuel economy. The WLTP tests introduce practical, on the road testing alongside the scientific approach of analysing fuel economy and emissions to produce realistic results.

The Clio and Captur ‘MY18’ WLTP models are available to order now with the WLTP tested Megane available to order in July. The Twingo, Kadjar, Koleos, Scenic and Grand Scenic will transition to the new ‘EasyLife’ trim-levels with first orders being taken in July with all of the afore mentioned WLTP tested. Note that models including the ‘MY18’ name are WLTP compliant/tested.
