Seat release more details on their very first SUV the new Seat Ateca

You can currently register your interest on the Seat web site and the order books are set to open on May the 3rd 2016 with the UK launch coming later in the year on the 9th of September 2016, just after the new 66 plate registration.
Retail prices are set to start at £17,990 and go all the way up to £29,990 with three trim levels available S, SE and Xcellence. A choice of petrol and diesel models are available with 6 speed manual and seven speed automatic DSG gearboxes and four wheel drive only available with the 2.0L diesel engines.
The petrol offerings include a 1.0 litre three cylinder 113bhp and 1.4 Eco TSI with 148bhp with Active Cylinder Shutdown to improve fuel economy when not under load.
The Diesel range includes a 1.6 litre 113 bhp that can do up to 65.7 miles to the gallon, also two 2.0 litre variants in different power outputs 148bhp and 187bhp.
On the S Ateca, air conditioning, leather steering wheel, leather gear lever, five inch multimedia touch screen, split folding and reclining rear seats, 16 inch alloys and LED daytime running lights are all standard.
The SE Ateca features climate control, cruise control, heated and electric door mirrors, rear parking sensors, Seat’s full link connectivity together with an eight inch multimedia touch screen, 17 inch alloys, LED tail lights and Black roof Rails.
Xcellence includes Seat’s new connectivity hub, that includes a wireless phone charger for compatible phones and an in car mobile network signal booster, customisable interior ambient light colours, Seat drive profile and driving experience, exterior mirror lights projecting the Ateca silhouette down on the ground.
Many more features for the Xcellence include automatic lights and wipers, DAB radio with sat nav, black leather, rear view camera, heated seats, full LED headlights 18 inch alloys, chrome roof rails and window surrounds, and a chrome double exhaust tailpipe.
