Drivers looking for an affordable new car might wish to investigate the new Ford Galaxy 1.8 TDCi LX.
New models of the Ford Galaxy TDCi LX feature a 123bhp 1.8-litre engine that manages to do 0-60mph in 11.4 seconds and is capable of 320Nm of torque.
And though entry levels of the vehicle miss out on electric windows, they do include other assorted extras including air-conditioning, heated windscreens and curtain airbags.
Auto Express comments that the most important new feature in the vehicle is the presence of "Ford's clever FoldFlatSystem (FFS), which allows all the rear chairs to fold quickly with two pulls of a lever".
"Unlike its predecessor, there's no struggling to remove heavy seats and a level load space of 2,325 litres is the result," the magazine adds.
With prices starting at just under ?20,000 and new car finance deals available such as personal contract purchase agreements, the Ford Galaxy 1.8 TDCi LX is a cheap option for families looking for a new MPV.
