New Ford Fiesta - Still the No.1 Car in the UK

The New Ford Fiesta continues to lead in new car sales, with almost double as many sales vs. 2nd place (Nissan Qashqai) for January 2016.
New car registrations rose by 2.9 % in January, with over 168,000 new cars being registered in the 1st month of 2016. It was truly an amazing month for the UK Car Market and was recorded as the best for 11 years.
The Ford Fiesta stole the show, with over 8,000 brand new Ford Fiesta’s being registered for the month of January. In a far out second place was the Nissan Qashqai with over 4,000 units registered for the month. Over the last decade the Ford Fiesta has been the best-selling car in the UK, and with these latest figures there is no sign of it slowing down.
The New Nissan Qashqai is the UK’s best-selling SUV/Crossover, and to be placed in 2nd for new car registrations is a new record for Nissan, the 2nd place has been previously held between the Vauxhall Corsa and Ford Focus for many years. This shows the national demand for the Nissan Qashqai and how most of us are realising that an SUV/Crossover is the way forward.
