New Audi A3 has a facelift and new technology added

New Headlight and taillight designs along with Audi traffic jam assist which works together with the Audi adaptive cruise control, this optional extra keeps the car a safe distance from the car in front and in combination with an S-tronic gearbox will automatically set off again when the queue starts to move again. It will also work in combination with the Stop and Go feature to cut and restart the engine.
Emergency assist is another new feature for the A3, This safety related feature will initiate autonomous braking to bring the car to a safe stop when no steering activity is detected. Cross traffic alert is also available that will detect traffic when reversing out of a parking spot.

The Audi virtual cockpit is available on the A3 as an option, it first appeared on the TT and A4, The screen is 12.3 inches on a TFT with high resolution and displays the most relevant driving information. The display can be switched between a classic view displaying the general instruments and an infotainment mode displaying radio station or media and navigation map added.
New paint colours are available Tango red, Vegas yellow, Cosmic blue, Ara blue and Daytona gray pearl which is reserved for the S line exterior package only. Xenon Headlights are standard with matrix LED headlights available as an option.
A new engine is available in the form of a 1.0 litre three cylinder petrol with 115bhp, along with the usual 1.6(110bhp) and 2.0 litre (150 and 184bhp) diesels and a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol with cylinder deactivation and 150bhp.
