The new Honda Civic Tourer should be available to order early December.
The Civic Tourer is built in the UK at Honda’s state-of-the-art plant in Swindon and is available with two engines that deliver an excellent trade off between performance and efficiency. The 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine which ouputs120 PS and can achieve 0-60mph in 10.1 seconds, while able to get up to 74.3mpg (combined) fuel economy with CO? emissions from 99g/km putting the vehicle in the road tax exemption bracket. The 1.8 i-DTEC petrol engine delivers 142 PS is capable of 0-60mph in 9.2 seconds and offers a fuel economy of up to 46mpg and CO2 emissions of 149g/km. There is little doubt for most people the diesel should be the preferred option.
The entry level S trim level model comes with plenty of tech and equipment and features 16” alloy wheels, Bluetooth Hands Free support , DAB Radio and USB connectivity. The Civic Tourer SE Plus model ramps it up with rear parking sensors and bigger 17” alloys and the SR model has first ever rear Adaptive Damper System (ADS - automatically adjusts the rear suspension damping force designed to enhance handling and comfort under various driving conditions), front heated seats, HDD Sat Nav and privacy glass. The top of the range top EX model adds headlight washers, smart entry and start, sunglasses holder, interior blue ambient lighting and auto-levelling Bi-HID headlights.
An optional Driver Assistance Safety Pack is available for models from the SE trim-level up and features a host of state-of the-art safety aids including city break system, forward collision warning, high beam support, lane departure warning, trsaffic sign recognition, blind spot aid and cross traffic monitor.
