Ford Offers Smartnav

Ford is offering its customers a new year bonus in the form of Smartnav available on its cheap new cars.
The system will include a year's subscription and a free month of Safe Speed, together with a speed camera warning system.
The deal comes as part of its Test Drive Week campaign, where buyers can check out the new technology for themselves. The promotion is running across all of the 650 Ford dealers in the country.
Pat Gallagher, director of in-vehicle products at Trafficmaster, said: "This campaign comes from the successful relationship that Trafficmaster has built with Ford since Smartnav became an approved accessory 18 months ago.

"This is a great time for Smartnav to be fitted into a car as standard, as people will be looking for their next new car."
The technology works by connecting the driver to a real personal assistant who records the journey details into a central computer.
The computer then judges the best route to take and updates this based on incoming reports on traffic congestion and delays.
January is set to be a bumper month for Ford buyers, as the company recently announced free upgrades on all its cheap new cars.
The offers are worth up to £2,000 and are available up until the end of March this year.
