The new Ford Fiesta ECOnetic has been a roaring success since it went on sale in the UK in December 2008.
It is no surprise when you read it is the most fuel efficient new five-seater family car in the UK. The CO2 come in at under 100g/km, making the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic zero rated for road tax. Yes, thats correct you dont pay any road tax.
Ford have designed the car with aerodynamic body styling, lowered suspension, low resistance tyres and low friction oil to help the Fiesta ECOnetic achieve ultra low CO2 emissions. It also has a clever green shift indicator in the instrument cluster which highlights the optimal point to change gear to maximse fuel economy.
