Ford owners and those looking to buy affordable new cars will rejoice with the news that Ford cars will now have cheaper servicing.
New Ford cars registered in 2006, such as the Ford Galaxy, the Ford Mondeo and the Ford Focus, will have a new schedule for the servicing of routine work.
Owners of a diesel Ford Mondeo can expect savings of around £118 over a three-year period, while those with the petrol version can expect to pay around £100 less.

It has been a bumper start to the new year for Ford, with the cost-cuts for services being just one of a range of offers for its customers.
Earlier in the month, it announced free upgrades for all its models, with buyers of the Ford Focus Ghia now able to upgrade to the climate edition for free saving £975.
Similarly, those wishing to buy the Ford Mondeo Zetec could upgrade to the Ford Mondeo Silver saving over £1,100.
