Citroen C4 is Restyled

Citroen has made some changes to its popular C4 model making it more similar to the Citroen C5.

External changes to the C4 model include a new rounded bonnet, new front bumper plus restyled integrated chevrons in the grille.    It will also now come in some new body colours and has more technology.   UK Car Discount has a range of cheap new Citroen C4 models.

Citroen is also introducing 2 new more fuel-efficient petrol engines which have been developed with BMW.   The 1.6 16v Vti 120bhp engine gives 42.2mpg and has CO2 emissions of 159g/km – which is a reduction of 6% on the previous engine it replaces.   The other new petrol engine is a 1.6 16v THP (Turbo High Pressure) 150bhp engine which also gives lower CO2 emissions of 164g/km and can achieve 40.9mpg on the combined cycle.

These new engines join the C4 diesel engines already in place – both 1.6 HDI engines giving either 92bhp or 110bhp.   Thanks to newly-fitted low-resistance Michelin Energy Saver tyres these diesel engines also now achieve lower CO2 emissions and lower fuel consumption.
