Cheap New Toyota Auris

New Euro NCAP crash test results have recently been issued. Both the new Toyota Auris and Skoda’s Roomster achieved the full 5 stars for adult occupant safety.   

They both also achieved 4 stars out of 5 for child occupancy safety.  

In terms of pedestrian safety the Auris received 3 stars out of a possible 4 whilst the Roomster achieved 2 stars. Other models tested were the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Kia Magentis with both models getting 4 stars for adult occupancy safety.    

The Hyundai also received 4 stars for child occupancy safety but received no points for pedestrian safety.   A child safety score of 3 stars was achieved for the Kia Magentis plus 1 star out of a possible 4 for pedestrian safety.
