A4 Suspension, Comfort and Drivability
The TFSI 150 Technik is equipped with Audi’s Comfort and Dynamic suspension setup that puts comfort first, meaning it soaks up the bumps nicely around town.
You can also cruise along the motorway in comfort, one of the A4’s strengths is the cabin noise, or the lack off. The engines are particularly smooth and even the diesels are relatively quiet. Wind noise is near anonymous and rival cars will be hard pushed to match the noise suppression of the A4.
The Audi A4 Technik is more comfortable than an equivalent BMW 3 Series which is a direct competitor and it still delivers enough of a dynamic drive to make it rewarding for the driver, it is punchy enough with 0-60mph achievable in around 8.3 seconds.
The caveat with comfort is, if you opt for larger alloys then expect the ride to be stiffer/bumpier, if comfort is your primary concern stick with the standard 17-inch alloys.
A4 Interior and Driver Aids
Inside the A4 you get excellent Audi build quality and high-quality finish/materials, all models get the impressive 12.3-inch digital driver display that Audi call the Virtual Cockpit.
The hi-tech cockpit feel is complimented with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth, native sat nav, smartphone mirroring (Android Auto/Apple CarPlay) and voice control.
This Technik model with comfort and sound pack also gets heated front seats and 3-zone electronic climate control. Driver aids include cruise control, front/rear parking sensors and a parking assistant.
A4 Comfort and Sound Pack
The comfort and sound pack includes a premium Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System with a power output of 755 watts. Also included is Audi’s advanced key (keyless entry and push button engine start that works by proximity and handsfree boot).
The pack also adds a 360 camera that integrates with 10.1 touchscreen providing assistance for manoeuvring and parking.
Further additions provided by the pack include an LED interior pack that offers three predefined colour schemes and ambient light in door trims and storage areas, cupholders, centre console and footwells.

If you go for the larger 19-inch alloy wheels, you’ll feel the bumps more, our advice is stick with the standard 18-inch alloys.

Although diesels are losing their popularity. They make a lot of sense here and the 2.0 EcoBlue 150 delivers a great blend of economy whilst still feeling punchy enough. It’ll get you from 0-60mph in as fast as 9.6 seconds and offers a combine fuel combined economy of up to 56mpg. The diesels are quiet too, the 2.0-litre diesel here is particularly smooth and it’s low on noise whether you are around town or cruising on the motorway.

Boot space 541-litres with the space-saver spare wheel (reduced to 458-ltres if you opt for a full-size spare wheel). Fold the rear seats down and you get a massive 1,437-litres making it a great working vehicle for loading boxes etc into or an ideal family car for holidays, trips etc.
