Although it may not please some traditional Mustang fans Ford are expected to roll out a version of it’s state-of-the-art Ecoboost engine similar to one utilised by the new Ford Focus ST (possibly a 2.3 litre turbo version) but it should still deliver well over 300bhp (thought to be 310bhp). If you really want to up the power then a beefy 5.4 litre V8 is expected. Six speed manual and automatic gearboxes should also be available, ther auto transmission may be an eight speed version.
