New Toyota Auris Hybrid Lower Emissions

The 2013 new Toyota Auris Hybrid hatchback is now available with CO2 emissions of just 84g/km, which makes it a class leader with the lowest emissions of any vehicle in the family hatchback sector. The reductions in emissions has been achieved with improved vehicle tuning and various design/aerodynamic enhancements including aero-stabilising fins in the rear glazing. The combined package results in improvement efficiency whilst retaining the cars performance.
Reinforcing Toyota’s commitment to continually improve the efficiency of its products, these new modifications were first unveiled on the 85g/km Auris Hybrid Touring Sports, when it made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013.
Sales of the Toyota Auris have been growing rapidly across Europe and n the UK, with Toyota Auris Hybrid sales up by 31% to March 2013.
Note that the new low emissions option will only be available on the 63 plate new Toyota Auris Icon models. The Active and Excel Toyota Auris models will have still have frugal diesel option offering 91g/km.
