New Honda CR-V Bags Best 4x4 Award

The Honda CR-V scooped the ‘Most Popular 4x4’ title for the second year running, as awarded by motoring experts website www.honestjohn.co.uk. The awards are based on votes not by a select panel but by the many knowledgeable users that frequently visit the Honest John site and the car reviews which generate the most user interest in each class are awarded accordingly.
The Honda CR-V has been an outstanding success since it’s introduction in 1995 and Honda have sold over five million units worldwide.
Honda gave the CR-V a major overhaul in 2012 with the 4th generation model sporting refined looks, improved equipment levels and overall improvements in materials and build, in was noted in particular that cabin noise had been reduced significantly for a much more better drive. The 2013 model sports some minor updates along with the usual benefits of the Honda CR-V spacious interior and rear folding seats arrangement widely believed to the best in it’s class. The latest all-new 2013 Honda CR-V benefits from the new super-efficient ‘Earth Dreams Technology ‘1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine, available in a 2 wheel drive option with manual gearbox it boasts CO2 emissions of only 119g/km. There are also a 2.0 i-VTEC S 2WD and a 2.2 i-DTEC EX 4WD option loaded with tech and equipment.
