The New Fiat Sedici Given UK Launch Date

The new Fiat Sedici, has been given a UK launch date of April 22nd, 2006, starting at a price of £12,495.

It is similar to other small 4x4s on the market, such as the Suzuki SX4, with which it was co-designed.

Giulio Salmone, managing director at Fiat Auto UK, said: "With Sedici we want to continue the same brilliant success story in the UK as we are experiencing with the new Grande Punto supermini."

He went on to say that in March, 2006 Fiat sold 10,700 vehicles ? 6,000 of which were the Grande Punto.

"I want to repeat our sales success with Sedici and there is every reason to be optimistic," he concluded.
