The Fiat Punto Grande Tops Sales
Published Date: 11th Apr 2006
The Fiat Punto Grande has made a great start to 2006, topping sales expectations and beating figures from last year.
That translates to 10,699 units shifted in March, providing it with a 2.45 per cent market share.
Giulio Salomone, managing director of Fiat Auto UK, commented: "Grande Punto is a great product and this is a good start and we are on-track to achieve our annual objective."
The Grande Punto follows Fiat's successful Punto hatchback, which has notched up more than six million sales since its launch over a decade ago.
To match these impressive figures, the Punto has been launched as a larger vehicle than expected in its class, offering a range of diesel engines from the 1.3 16v Multijet, to the 1.9 MultiJet with 120 or 130 bhp engines.
The 2006 edition of the Fiat Grande Punto is available with new car finance deals now.
