Skoda Yeti Gets Satisfaction

User friendly Yeti model has been named the most satisfying car in the UK to own.

It topped the yearly Driver Power poll of 100 cars for the second successive year with a complete satisfaction rating of 92 per cent – the highest recorded in this year’s poll.

This result marks an astonishing treble for the brand, which topped the identical chart in both 2011 and 2012.

The report is accumulated by Auto Express magazine using the feedback supplied by car owners from all over the UK – This year around 46,000 drivers were asked to rate their car in 10 major categories, this five-door crossover was rated as the best for ‘In–car tech’, with praise for Skoda’s competitive affordable and ease of use infotainment systems. 

 The reliable build quality was another part where Auto Express readers felt the Yeti couldn’t be bettered as it achieved an approval rate of 96.25 per cent to outscore its rivals costing nearly twice as much.Auto Express chief Steve Fowler explained: “We’ve always liked the Yeti – it’s a former Auto Express Car of the Year – so it’s great to see so many owners agreeing with us. They like its practicality, the tech on board and how easy and enjoyable it is to drive.”

Runner-up to the Skoda Yeti was the Skoda Superb, which was voted Best Family Car by readers, while the Skoda Octavia placed in sixth.
