Peugeot Production Issues

Peugeot Production Constraints
With the recent tragic events in Japan, we are in a position to advise you on the long term impact of a certain number of vehicles available from Peugeot. Production constraints can be summarised into three main areas
• Shortage of components required to produce the HDi 140 engine fitted to 508.
• Shortage of components required in the manufacture of automatic gearboxes fitted to 308, RCZ, 3008, 5008 and 508.
• Shortage of pigments required in the production of certain metallic paint finishes.
Peugeot 508
The new Peugeot 508 is launched on the 28th April, and already we have seen strong pre-launch orders, and excellent feedback from our demo campaign.
The HDi 140 manual, and HDi 163 automatic engines will no longer be offered on the vehicle, however Peugeot will be introducing the HDi 163 manual to the range.
All orders already placed for a 508 with the HDi 140 engine will not be affected by the production constraints.
Peugeot Automatic Gearboxes
From the end of April until the end of 2011, the following automatic gearbox derivatives of 308, RCZ, 3008, 5008 and 508 will no longer be produced:
• 308 Hatch, SW and CC
– 1.6 THP 156 Automatic
– 2.0 HDi 163 Automatic
• 508 Saloon and SW
– 2.0 HDi 163 Automatic
• 3008

– 2.0 HDi 163 Automatic
• 5008
– 1.6 THP 156 Automatic
– 2.0 HDi 163 Automatic
• RCZ
– 1.6 THP 156 Automatic
We are able to offer on the 308, 508, 3008 and 5008 other automatic derivatives or EGC models.
Metallic Paint Finishes
