Nissan Price Increase

The following shows the official statement released by Nissan UK regarding the Nissan Qashqai October 1st Price Increase
Following a review of the new Nissan Qashqai competitiveness in market, we are implementing a general price increase across the All New Qashqai range. In addition, in order to alleviate some pressure on Tekna lead times and offer more options to the customer; Tekna will now come without panoramic glass roof as standard and it can be ordered as a factory fit option priced at £400.
These pricing actions are summarised below and will be effective from Wednesday 1st
October 2014.
¹ All unsold Dealer Stocking orders that are ordered and appropriated by 30th September will be price-protected, irrespective of when these vehicles are registered.
² All sold backorders placed in the system up to and including 1st September will be price protected where there is no change of Sales Type or Customer Name before registration date. Backorders placed from 2nd September will not be price protected.
Motability Orders
Motability orders taken until 30th September will be price protected against current advance Payments.
? to implement price protection, the customer must provide proof that the original quotation was generated on or before Monday 1st September.
? for quotations generated on or before 1st September, the sold customer order must then be placed on the NORDIS by close of business on Tuesday 30th
September 2014.
Vehicle orders with a quotation dated on or after 1st September and registered on, or before Tuesday 30th September will be price protected.
The supplying dealer should email Nissan Fleet by 30th September and provide the following data:
? Supplying Nissan Dealer
? Leasing Company Name
? Date of quotation generation
? Nissan Vehicle Order Number
? Model Specification
Once this has been received NMGB will validate the claim and, if approved, price protect the vehicle and confirm the action to the dealer. Any claims received after the 30th September will not be price protected.
