Nissan Qashqai and Juke Boost Sales

Nissan sales in the UK reached record figures in 2012 headed by their incredibly popular Crossover the new Nissan Qashqai and with an impressive start to 2013 it looks they are going from strength to strength. The British built Qashqai has become Britain's favorite Crossover becoming a firm fixture in the top ten list of best selling cars in the UK and now Nissan are further cementing their place in the UK car market as the Qashqai's little brother the new Nissan Juke is now more popular than ever breaking into the top ten best selling cars in January 2013 and it has managed to hold the healthy sales figures staying in the top ten best selling cars for February 2013. Meanwhile the new Nissan Qashqai continues to sit nicely 'mid-table' in the top ten list of best selling cars for January and February 2013 firmly established it as a very popular car with Brits, this is the first time Nissan have two cars in the top 10 best selling list in the UK.

Overall official statistics from the SMTT (The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) showed that Nissan took a huge leap forward in 2012 with a 10% increase in sales which equated to a %5 share of overall UK new car sales and with things looking very rosy for Nissan in the first quarter of 2013 they will be looking to continue the trend.

Nissan have been at the cutting edge of innovation and technology in the motor industry whilst at the same time delivering excellent value for money. The flagship Qashqai and relatively new kid on the block the Juke are leading the way as Nissan continues to grow. With the Juke in relative infancy compared to the Qashqai the sales figures are extremely encouraging for Nissan and if the trend continues then the Nissan Juke should become an even more popular vehicle than the Qashqai has been so far.
