New Toyota Urban Cruiser

Published Date: 24th Mar 2009

The new Toyota Urban Cruiser has achieved the world’s lowest CO2 emissions for a four-wheel drive car. The 1.4 D-4D AWD model has an emission figure of 130g/km, just one of the excellent environment achievements for Toyota in its new B-segment hatchback crossover.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser is the latest model to benefit from Toyota Optimal Drive, making the engine more powerful whilst at the same time making them more fuel-efficient and less polluting.

All Urban Cruisers are in Band C for vehicle excise duty (road tax) for 2008 – 2009, Band D for 2009 – 2010.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser is also equipped with a Stop & Start system, which has a significant effect on fuel consumption and emissions.
