New Seat Tribu Concept Car
Published Date: 23rd Sep 2007
Seat is set to unveil a new concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September. Called the Seat Tribu concept, it is the first Seat model which has been totally designed by Design Director, Luc Donckerwolke, since his arrival from Lamborghini.
The Seat Tribu concept is a totally different looking Seat model, with a more geometric shape. It is an SUV but looks a bit like a coupe from the side and it has three doors. It has a large panoramic roof as the windscreen continues above the passenger compartment. The rear lights are hidden behind the rear windscreen and only become visible when lit.
On the dashboard there are 4 information screens that display different information depending on which of the 3 driving modes you are in – Urban, Sport or Freerun – which change the engine management and suspension settings.
Seat has said of the Tribu concept that it ‘heralds the advent of a new wave of Seat models, and is therefore highly significant’.
