Published Date: 30th Sep 2014
Just nine months into the launch of all new Qashqai, Nissan are pleased to announce an update to the range with the introduction of brand new N-Tec and N-Tec+ grades as well as a new DIG-T 115 Xtronic transmission, available to order from Monday 6th October.
N-TEC & N-TEC+
The new N-Tec grade will replace Acenta Premium in the line up and brings with it enhanced design and additional technology. It makes Nissan’s advanced driver and safety technology even more accessible and further enhances the vehicle’s overall value proposition with starting prices from £21,700.
On the exterior, the new n-tec grade features unique 18-inch alloy wheels with a stylish and distinctive black diamond-cut finish. Customers wanting to add even more features can choose an optional N-Tec+ trim that include a full-length panoramic glass roof and satin silver roof rails for an additional £550.
In addition, N-Tec brings with it extra technology - Around View Monitor - a useful driving and parking aid that provides driver with a ‘helicopter view’ of the area immediately surrounding the car, as well as auto folding mirrors.
N-Tec and N-Tec+ are available with three powertrains - DIG-T 115 MT/ Xtronic, or the dCi 110 Manual.
Qashqai N-Tec Versus Acenta Premium key specficiation points for the new grades are listed below:
DIG-T 115 XTRONIC
As announced in the All New Qashqai launch last year, we are also pleased to announce the arrival of a DIG-T 115 Xtronic transmission into the range available from Acenta upwards. Delivering a more connected feel and increased refinement, the petrol Xtronic transmission delivers a perfect balance of smooth performance and greater efficiency. With 115PS/ 165Nm, its' C02 emissions are just 129g/km. Stop/Start is standard and the engine returns an impressive 50.4mpg on the combined cycle.
DISPLAY AND DEMO AVAILABILITY
All dealers will be auto allocated with one Qashqai n-tec+ DIG-T 115 Xtronic demo unit and one n-tec+ display to support the launch, with deliveries expected from early October.
ORDERING
N-Tec, N-Tec+ and Xtronic codes will be open to ordering from Monday 6th October, with deliveries from mid-October. All end item codes can be viewed in the DMPL listed above.
ACENTA PREMIUM RUN-OUT
Acenta Premium supply is now fixed. We will close all end items to backorder, so please refer to supply reports in Vehicle Distribution section of Nissan Online to check availability.
SUPPLY/ CUSTOMER AVAILABILITY
As it currently stands, P4 supply consists mainly of n-tec+ and Tekna with a 50/50 split of DIGT-115 and dCi 110 engines. This is a positive change for Qashqai and we expect leadtimes to be much shorter than customers have previously experienced (except dCi 130 which remains on backorder). As usual please keep checking the free supply report so that you are aware of the latest availability of grades/engines.
