New Nissan Juke On The Way

The Nissan Juke is one of the most Exciting vehicles on our roads today, but it doesn't mean it hasn't been a sales success, especially in and around Europe. Nissan gave the the SUV its first refresh at the Geneva Motor Show. The design changes are drawing a lot of interest here in the UK, Nissan made it clear that they anticipate the new Juke will be a big success and be one of the hottest cars in the range.
New Nissan Juke customers are getting a new 1.2-litre DIG-T turbocharged engine with 113bhp, and the 1.6 DIG-T also got an increased compression ratio to produce 188 bhp and offers either a six-speed manual or Nissan's Xtronic CVT. The 4WD system has been upgraded with a torque vectoring system.
Exterior changes focus on making the Juke look a bit more curvy and sporty. The lights above the wheel arches are also shaped into a jagged point and mirror the boomerang-shaped rear lights. It also features Nissan's new, thicker V-shaped chrome grille. The wing mirrors have new LED indicators, and the lower portion of the rear receives a beautifully designed mesh grille for a more aggressive look. Other than some new colour variants, the interior is largely unchanged. However, the luggage area has been reshaped and re-mastered to increase storage capacity by 40 percent to 354 litres.
The revised Juke will be on sale here in the UK later this summer.
