New Citroen C3 Picasso

Citroen has announced an addition to its popular Picasso range – the Citroen C3 Picasso.   Following its debut at the recent Paris Motor Show, the new C3 Picasso will be launched in the UK mid-2009. 

The C3 Picasso will bring together contemporary styling with retro, round shapes which Citroen say gives it a unique personality and presence.   It will come in a choice of engines to offer economy and good performance.  Two petrol engines – a VTi 95hp and VTi 120hp – plus 2 diesel engines – HDi 90hp plus HDi 110hp will be available.

As with all Citroen MPVs, comfort and practicality are key priorities for the new C3 Picasso.   It will have split-folding rear seats that slide independently to give flexibility of legroom or storage space or can be easily folded away for maximum storage.    The front passenger seat can also be folded completely flat to increase load length.

The new C3 Picasso will offer driver and passengers a light and bright driving experience.   It will feature a 3-part windscreen which helps to give the car one of the largest glazed areas in this type of vehicle.   Occupants will have a high seating position to enjoy optimum visibility plus wraparound windows and a panoramic glass roof will allow light to flood into the cabin.
