Skoda has announced the new Fabia will be available from 2015 and we have some exclusive pictures of the all-new car.

Many details and spy shots have surfaced of the new Skoda Fabia, which will be revealed at October’s 2014 Paris Motor Show.

Skoda also look set to capitalise on the new found success of the latest Monte Carlo models, with a new Fabia version set to be released earlier in the car’s life. It will feature black wheels, a slightly more prominent spoiler, new special badging, and other racy add-ons, maybe even stripes.

The main focus will feature around practicality, with 330 litres added to the boot capacity, or 1,195 litres available with the seats down. When compared to the figures of; 315 litres and 1,180 litres presently. The estate is said to feature “class-leading space”. And all diesels will output less than 95g/km of CO2; with the petrols kept under 110g/km.

These exclusive shots show the trademark Skoda grille has been carried over to the new Skoda Fabia model, and the car appears to be a little wider and lower than the current Fabia, giving it a sportier position on the road.

We know that the new Fabia will take on a different new look but staying fairly compact. Chief Designer Jozef Kaban revealed “the Fabia will be the most extroverts Skoda yet, with a wide front grille, angular headlights and LED tail-lamps”.

With the VW group owning Skoda, early reports suggest that the hatchback will be based on the current MQB platform, which represents a whole host of models from Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda. The engine options are also likely to be overhauled; with various units from the new VolksWagen Polo expected to be available. Prices are expected to be announced closer to launch date, but a new 15 plate Skoda Fabia is likely to cost a little more than the £9,945 for the base model, which is the price tag of the current Skoda Fabia.
