So what is the difference between the Prius and the Auris?
The Toyota Prius is the flagship Hybrid vehicle in the UK and you’ll find the Auris uncannily similar in a number of ways. The drive and handling for instance is about a close as you’ll get to a to the serene experience of a Prius and inside the new Auris you’ll find a very familiar Prius styling.
Yes the Auris is a bit smaller than the Prius but should still be more than adequate for most people and families. The addition of the Toyota Auris Touring Sports Hybrid should offer an additional option of space for those that require a large boot or additional space. For a larger vehicle you could also take a look at the 7 seat Toyota Prius+ as an option.
The latest new 2013 Toyota Auris Hybrid model is lighter and more efficient than it’s predecessor. You get a greener Auris which offers on average a 13 percent decrease in CO2 emissions. It is also a greener vehicle than the current entry-level Prius model too, emitting 2g/km of CO2 less (87g) with zero NOx output.
